The designation 'senator' is not superfluous for this chair. With a frame so beautifully crafted in solid teak it breathes pure strength and quality. Wanscher designed this chair in the late 50s and France and Søn took it into production in the sixties.
We decided to reupholster the sturdy cushions in a black glossy faux leather with buttonning according to the original Wanscher design. As every France and Søn piece also this chair is numbered on the makers shield. With new upholstery and very few signs of age and use it allows to give off vintage condition excellent.
