Reol wall unit by Kai Kristiansen
Danish design by Kai Kristiansen and produced by FM Mobler. FM is short for Feldballes Møbelfabrik that had the fortune to have succesful designer Kai Kristiansen on their side in the 50s and 60s. Kai Kristiansens most successful design for FM was the FM Reolsystem Wall Unit from 1957. Proved to be a huge success with sales throughout Europe and the US. The modular shelving unit was made in both teak and rosewood and came in a variety of add-on shapes and sizes to suit ones need.
This particular rosewood Reolsystem has 3 metal uprights, two cabinets and 6 shelves, with three different sizes. The size of the big shelve is width 85cm and depth 28 cm. Also one shelf width 85cm and depth 24cm. And 4 smaller shelves width 85cm and depth 18cm.
- This particular rosewood Reol system is in a very good vintage condition but has some color differences on the boards and light signs of age and use. See pictures.
