This model OS29 sideboard in rosewood by Arne Vodder for Sibast møbelfabrik is the epitomy of high end Danish design cabinettry. A design icon and highly desireable collectors piece for all of you who love the Mid Century Modern era. Recognizable as a Vodder from afar with white and yellow sliding doors that can be reversed to a full rosewood look and the renowned style of drawer fronts. The uplifted long end of the top and beautiful joinery on the faceted face of the front bezel. Vodder really arrived in the premier league of Denmark's designers with this sideboard design and became renowned all over the globe.
This particular sideboard is in very good and above all in fully original untouched condition which makes it a very rare find and much coveted item. Some wear lines on the painted doors and minor chipping of the same paint as per attached pictures are the only items that show age and use on the exterior. The Interior of the cabinet in beech and ash is in good condition with only minor signs of use.
- Made in the late 50s it is lovely to see this masterpiece 60 years later still in full swing and ready to uplift any contemporary interior with story and edge.
