Design desk
Fantastic freestanding sunburst teak desk designed and made by Valdemar Mortensen in the 1960s. It is a mid sized stylish midcentury desk in teak. Eclectic freestanding design with a semi floating top that is one with the drawer blocks through the sides. The two drawer blocks each comprise three drawers of which the top ones can be locked. The back of the desk has space to store books and comes with an additional pull down cabinet for out of sight storage that can be locked.
Vintage tanker desk
We had the top and sides refinished with a cellulose laquer system minimizing the impact on the pure teak feel but adding a layer of robustness to the top. There are signs of use and time on the frame and the drawer banks but none of those disturb really. For this reason we give this desk a very good vintage condition mark.
