Clearly priority number one was storage for this 'tall boy' chest of drawers. The grips carved from solid teak are a nice adder to the design. We believe this teak chest has been in an office of some sort in his days. It does provide your study with that typical 50's office vibe. Almost urges you to bring out some Scotch and a smoke ;-)
The vintage condition is fair, some scratches and a repair, on top of that the key went missing over the years. Locking up your stuff will no longer be possible unfortunately.
