Louis Poulsen
Set of two PH Kontrast lamps made by Louis Poulsen and of design by Poul Henningsen. The design dates from 1962 and was taken out of production not much later as costs to make this lamp pressed hard on margin. Never was the design revived in later years making it one of the few PH models to be truly vintage if you find one today.
Design lamp
The pendant consists of 10 aluminum discs that have each been painted in Orange and white and have Rings of polished aluminum. The light passing through the lamp has an enriched tone to it through the Orange reflection on the inside. The bulb can be moved up and down in the housing to Enhance or Reduce focus in the bottom section of the lamp. Both lamps are in a very good and identical vintage condition.
