This Danish beauty is constructed out of solid oak and teak veneer. The hutch or upper segment of this split level chest credenza is held up by two pairs of organically shaped solid oak legs manufactured by Skovby Møbler. The teak veneer is placed on top of solid beach wood. This all culminates into a remarkable chest, remarkably heavy also… A design credenza like this one is in the top category of woodworking. This echos on the inside of the cabinet space. The lower part includes 5 drawers made of craftily worked ash wood and covered on the inside with green felt. The other parts have sliding doors and big drawers.
This Danish split level design chest is in a very good vintage condition. It is amazing to see this piece is about half a century old and still in such great shape.
