Design desk
Lectern writing desk in teak designed by Svend Langkilde for Langkilde Møbler in the early 1950s. Long before it was good practice to stand while working this lectern was designed for speaking to an audience. The angled top is covered in black leather and can be raised to give access to the top compartment of the desk. Beneath there are two sizeable drawers that can be locked. This desk is a product of pure craftsmanship and aligns with the high end of midcentury Danish furniture making. Two sliders allow for the separation of the desk from it's base and these can be fastened in normal use.
Vintage high writing table
The desk in a very good shape, with the leather top not showing any flaws at all. With only some minor signs of use and age on one of the drawer fronts this lectern is still in excellent vintage condition.
