Vintage Danish design sofa
This sofa from Dux dates back to the mid-1960s and we reupholstered it with a stunning Gispen Orignal corduroy Cordova 2 fabric no. 8189. To us this fitted well with the lines of the sofa and gives it a cool edgy appearance. This is also in accordance with the original upholstery that was available in this color line. In addition to the upholstery, the interior of the sofa has also been renewed. Consider here the structural foam layers and suspension underneath. As a result, this sofa has a fresh active seat again, as before. Ergonomically suitable for conversations and activities such as reading and working.

Gispen Original
Two classics connected? This Danish mid century piece is even more edgy with the authentic Cordova 2 No 8189 from Gispen Originals by Lancier. The narrow ribbed fabric - which designer Willem Gispen personally purchased from producer 'Van Heek Schuttersveld' - is making a nice comeback. We are proud that we can supply this strong and original Gispen ribbed fabric. This corduroy clearly represents a piece of Dutch textile history.
