This early production Pantonova three-seat sofa was designed by Verner Panton for Fritz Hansen in 1971. It has the Danish export label with the date of May 1973. It is made from steel and upholstered in the original red woollen fabric. The Pantonova is in very good vintage condition. Only some minor wear and tear including a few light marks. This three-seat sofa has stand the test of time but shows in some areas discoloration of oxidation and surface scuffs on the chromed steel wiring.
The cushions are tied with the original velcro ties to the frame of chromed steel. The sofa can be used individually as chairs or together as a sofa. A lot of options with this masterpiece in your home!
And by the way, for ‘good siting' Furnip gives this funky lounge sofa an 8.
