Design desk
An exclusive mid-century modern large desk was designed by Svend Madsen and manufactured by HP Hansen in Denmark in the 1960s. This elegant desk features a bowed large top with beautiful rosewood wood grain and a raised lip edge. The desk provides three drawers on each side with solid rosewood recessed pull handles, while the back features a large shelf for books. The top drawers have a working lock. Two keys are included.
A vintage writing table!
We had the top refinished with a cellulose laquer system adding a layer of robustness to the top. There are some small signs of use and time on the base frame but none of those disturb really. So this desk is in a very good vintage condition.
