This robustly constructed chair is made just after the 'mid century modern era' but is spot on in terms of its design. Niels Otto Moller crafted the No. 85 mid 70's as a variation to his animal like shaped backrest designs, that also churned out of the J.L. Moller factory.
It did however take till mid 80's before the design was taken into mass production. This piece is from that first manufacturing period and is with nearing it's 40th birthday a youngster on this site. Made with paper cord that is still in great shape and undamaged, so in excellent vintage condition!
